Mood:  party time!
Wow, it sure has been a long time since we've written in here! Well, today we had my squadron's kids' holiday party. I was in charge of it this year and I don't think I will do it again. It sure is hard work and coordination that definitely gave me a headache. It was definitely worth it though. The kids had a blast! There were prizes, games, pizza, punch, cookies, cupcakes, music, and Santa.
The weather did not cooperate but that's ok. We had it inside.
Speaking of the weather, it's been chilly this past week. Chilly, as far as Okinawa goes. It was in the low 60s today and will be hitting 48 tonight. That is cold for us. I know u folks in the north would love it to be that "warm" :)
Kevin and the boys r good. I know we haven't posted any new pictures in awhile but between work, school, and the kids, it has been busy in the Chaney household. One of these days, we'll get to it.
Austin is counting down the days till Christmas. Kevin and I counting down the days till we get back to the states. 216 to be exact. Austin is on his 2 week break for the holidays as well as Kevin. Alex will almost be 1. The past year has definitely flown. Alex can't walk yet but he sure is getting there.
I took a week's leave for Christmas and just enjoying some quality time home. Kevin has to work Mon and Tues but that's ok. At least, he doesn't have to go to class at night for his 2 week holiday.
We r planning on going to Christmas eve service and having some friends over for some cookies n eggnog. I hope to see some of u on the webcam as well.
Well, better close 4 now. Take care and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Love,
Sheila

Mood:  don't ask
It has been a while, but I have been pretty darn busy. The job is going okay, making some money, getting some experience. We are in the middle of a typhoon at the moment. The cable is out, we didn't get any movies, and we are pretty bored. I am supposed to go to Singapore in September, but I heard there has been some terrorist activity there. That trip may not happen now. I am not looking forward to this term starting, school is getting really old. We got to do what we got to do. It will all pay off in the end, I hope.

Later!!!

Mood:  a-ok
Hello all, things are going good here. I have about nine classes left to finish my B.S. in CMIT, I am so ready to be done with it. I have a job opportunity that has presented itself to me through a friend, I'll tell you more about it if I get it. Sheila is doing fine, Austin and Akex are doing good also. We are taking Austin to see "Finding Nemo" today after church, then we might go to the pool. That's it for now, take care. Later.

Mood:  chillin'
Everything is going fine here, went to Tokyo this past weekend for a Herbalife training conference. It was very informative and the atmosphere was awesome. It's pretty cool to shake hands with a man who makes more in a month than most people make is five years. Sheila, Austin, and Alex are all doing great. School is almost over for Austin, next year is the big first grade. Alex is my little biddy, he is so awesome, Sheila says I spoil him. Sheila is doing fine, just tired of the military life. Take care, later.

Sorry I have not written in awhile, we have been pretty busy. Things are going fine. Sheila has started softball, she really has fun playing. Austin is doing fine, playing with all of his birthday toys. Alex is getting heavy and eating like crazy. I am fine, business is okay. We did find out we are going to have to move again, which stinks. They are doing something to this building so we have to be out by November. I got very angry when I found this out because that is why they moved us here in the first place, they were fixing up our last building. Oh well, life goes on and you don't get to choose what happens all the time. This just makes us more ready to leave the military life behind us. Well, I'm going to go to bed. Later.

It's getting harder and harder to come into work.
Our work is pretty busy which I don't mind. It makes the day go by faster. However, just got news that our schedule is changing to possibly 6 days on and 3 days off (12 hour shifts). I don't know if anyone has ever done this schedule but it WILL burn us out. We are so undermanned at work that I'm starting to feel it. But I try to keep my head up and stay motivated. I just keep thinking...ok...16 more months to go...I take it day by day. I'm so lucky to have the "boys" with me. I keep thinking there are those out there that don't have their loved ones nearby or to come home to. They definitely keep my mind off of work. Each day brings something new with the kids. Wow, I still can't believe I'm a mom of 2!!! I tried to pick up Austin the other night to take him upstairs to bed and I thought I was going to break my back! He's getting so tall. He will definitely be daddy's boy :) Kevin made a remark on how Austin's nose is starting to point out. It's kind of a running joke within our family that the only thing the boys got from me is my nose. If no one has noticed...Kevin has a pretty big nose :)
Alex is slowly starting to eat solids. We started him on rice cereal last week. Most of it ends up on his bib though. He loves to stick out his tongue and start spitting out bubbles. I think I taught him that. He will be 4 months old this Thursday. AND Austin is going to be 6 years old this Sunday!!! Time definitely flies by. Well, I hope everyone is doing well. Take care. Love, Sheila

Business seems to be picking up a little, started trying some new sales techniques. Classes are going, that's about all I can say about that. I have a History test tonight. I have to turn in my Designing A Directory Services Infrastructure test tomorrow. I will be so glad when I get finished with school. I thought this History class would be a good change of pace, but I was wrong. I found out that I am not that interested in history, unless it's my family history. Maybe it's just because it's a late class. It is hard to have a lecture class from 8:00 until 10:45 at night. Austin and Alex are doing great, Sheila is counting down the days, and I am here wishing we where somewhere else. Later.

We went to our church easter picnic today at comprehensive park. It's a very nice park with a bike racetrack, running trails, playgrounds, and pavilions for barbecuing. Austin hunted for eggs and ate all the chocolate candy that was in them. We got a little bit of a tan as well. We watched the new Harry Potter dvd this afternoon too. Typhoon Fujira is near the PI right now. I'm not sure if it's going to hit us at all. Unfortunately, I have to go back to work tomorrow. 16 more months to go.

Today is a good day for some ribs. That is what we are having today for lunch. I got some babyback ribs and we are going to fire up the grill in a few hours. Everything is going good here. A typhoon might be heading our way, besides that all is well. I am down to 201 now, that is 31 pounds lost so far. I am going to loose about 26 more and then level off. Alex is now 13 pounds and 25 inches long. He is growing fast. He was 9 pounds 4 ounces and 21 inches when he was born. Email is still down for us, you can use our hotmail accounts until we get it back up. Later.
